Has any body watched this video? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,463326,00.html

I think someone else just posted about this. But I did just see yesterday on ABC where a dog was hit on a highway and another dog (looked like part shepherd to me) was trying to protect the injured dog, and was doing a good job keeping a handful of cops at bay! It is amazing the depth of bonds, that dogs do form with each other, and us.

I posted about that amazing video....the yellow lab was hit by a car, broke her leg, & was protected from other traffic & police by a shepherd mix.......who turned out to be her son! Both dogs were eventually rescued, owner reclaimed, & both are OK! I know that some dogs have that close bond, I think, personally, that there is much more going on in those hearts & heads than we suspect, & I think science will someday agree.

There was a video a few months ago, about another dog trying to pull an injured dog out of heavy traffic, recorded in Chili, or somewhere. I hated watching that one, no one stopped to help the poor creatures. jh

Just watched the clip on a news site. Good object guard!

Kalibeck, I can't watch that other one again, either! Too disturbing that something so heroic should be totally ignored by people. And thanks for the update on that clip, I am so glad to know they are both okay! Mom and son, you don't say! Very cool.

It's posted under the topic "Awesome Dog Video". Sorry I didn't  see your post earlier, Kaliebeck, but that's the one I saw on ABC.
