My 14 year old Daughter has not started her on a leash, so she does get out of position some.
Pup turned 1 on May 10, still lots of work ahead, but they'll turn a lot of heads in the next few years.
The black flies are getting bad, so we only have a very short window out with the dogs before we are all bug bait.
So this was a very rushed thing the other night, I almost missed the sit in motion, did not know what they were going to do.

Very very nice, I really am enjoying have our films embedded in the message. Tell your daughter she is handling the pup very nice.
Always,

May I ask what the reason for not starting the dog on a leash first was? Wouldn't it be harder to teach a dog correct heeling off leash than on? And wouldn't it make correcting any heeling mistakes harder going from off leash to on, rather than vice versa? Just curious.

Thanks Cee, I agree it's very cool, hopefully lots of people will give it a try.
Love the black pup in yours too!!

She has been just letting the Little one grow-up mentally 1st.
Started imprinting and building the bond & focus at a very young age, goal is a total love for the work.
Now is the time for them to start the fine tuning on leash & prong.
Lots of different ways to go about things, just find this to be something that just feels right for us.

Thanks for watching

Nice.  I know that for some the leash is cumbersome so off lead is a good way to start -- with a great dog only.

Your daughter and her dog are both talented!
