here is a great example: my male was bought by a police officer, trained for a few months, road the streets and then returned cause he did not have what it takes ( they have to have it all - it is a hard job) . So IF I ( was dishonest and that type of person) wanted to I could say that he was police dog and sell his offspring for more money, right? I mean what would stop me and who would know? How do you check ?
I mean Looking at this female's pedigree it looks like a impressive back line but how can I tell for sure that the dogs are what they say they are? (please don't ask what the dogs' names are as I am Not a name dropper. This is a question across the board not wanting to start a bashing thread :)
Any thoughts

Good morning EK, you don't know, if the dog has been tested and did not make the grade, you found a weakness in the dog for police work, find a different avenue for the dog is question that it will succeed at, then promote that. As you know each individual dog has the genes behind them to get a job done but it is up to the breeder and owner to find the right job that the dog will be very successful at. Astra was to be a police dog, she probably would have been a great one, she broke a tooth, she had a great nose, could have been a narc dog, I bought her and she was great farm dog, protector and schutzhund athlete for me. You could have parents that are math genius, does that mean all their children are going to be the same? Just my opinion.
