I don't know.  It looks like Simba could be jealous too?  Does Simba have a good vocabulary?

For a baby...yes. They say they usually dont talk till a year old or after. (He is 8 months) He already says "Hello" and " I Love You"
He also makes all kinds of sounds... Laughing, Meow, Barking, Clucking, Whistling. And he jabbers on and on I just cant understand him half the time. Its words but I think it is like a young child trying to learn how to talk and its not very clear at first.

Okie Amazon

Greys are the BEST at sound mimicry. My firends had one that made every sound from their kids video games.  I have a Red Lored Amazon, Chili Pepper.   Over the years I have had:

Nanday Conures (NOT recommended except for the hearing impaired)
Alexandrine Parakeets
Blue-Crowned Conures (super, super birds)
Budgies, canaries, and assorted finches.

Right now I have a parakeet and a Blue Crowned Conure.  I've heard so many good things about Blue Crowned, sadly, mine is a nasty little thing!  I had a Sun Conure before and loved that bird, he died a few years ago.  Someday, when I have more room I am getting a Catalina Macaw.

My sister has an African Gray named Pepper. A couple years ago I had spent a few days at my sisters house and had my GSD Mariska with me. Mariska woke me up early one morning to go out, so I was tip toeing thru the house trying to be quiet so I wouldn't wake my sister. As I passed the living room I heard "what are you doing"? I was thinking to myself, dam I woke her up. So I said Mariska needs to go out. And I started walking towards the door again. Before I got there I again heard "what are you doing"? I again said, sorry I woke you I just need to take Mariska out, I will be right back. So I took my dog out and in a few minutes came back in. House was quiet so I figured my sister had went back to sleep so I went on back to my room. Later that day once we were all up I told her I was sorry I woke her so early, but Mariska wanted to go out. She looked at me and said I hadn't woke her, she didn't know I had been up. I said she asked me what I was doing. She laughed and informed me that was Pepper in the living room who had asked me what was I doing. I didn't believe her until I again heard him say it later on.
Now when I am on the phone with her I will hear the birds in the back ground, Pepper will be ringing like a phone, then Max the other one will say Hello!
I love her birds, very entertaining.

I had a Yellow Nape Amazon for 12 years.  However, I gave him to a co-worker (who also owned parrots) because my grand child was at my house quite often on weekends, and I didn't want her breathing any of the Feather dust (tons of feather dust).   He talked up a storm, made sounds, laughed (just like me) and could whistle tunes.   Quite a character -- and a lot of work also (cleaning cages, stand, perches, etc.) but he was very entertaining and lots of fun.   I miss him.   I think the African Grey is the best talker and the Yellow Nape the second best.

I have a blue and gold macaw and a scarlet macaw. They both know the my male shepherd's name and several commands in German! They are so funny to listen to at times. My birds also "jabbers" like Simba; it is like they are having a deep conversation with someone in some foreign language. They also have a repertoire of words that are typical to the macaws. Fortunately, no foul language!
