The Element is a great dog car- I bought one in December but I might have to look at trading it in for this version when it comes out.

Rear Air? I bought the highlander for the rear air for the dogs, and the back window opens. I like the restraints and the ramp, missing those features. The 2008 the seats do not fold flat so the crate is tilted some.

If only the Element didn't look like a Rubbermaid lunch box, it'd be perfect, lol. I hope more car companies start making these kinds of accessories available to their customers. Great idea, there's a huge market for it.

I think the Toyota Venza is also going to make a pet package. I call Elements "box cars". XD

They have decided that they are not going to introduce the Element into the UK - apparently we have enough similar type vehicles from them already!
Its a great shame.
