Anybody watching? The favorite scratched, the track is sloppy and I almost forgot the race was today, except my mom called me to remind me. She knows I get upset if I miss it. So who's it going to be? Any favorite hats? I must say Valerie Bertolini looked great, and the Jenny horse is Chocolate something. Who doesn't love chocolate?

EVERYTHING I HAVE MADE AS A JANITOR THIS YEAR WILL BE PLACED ON #15 DUNKIRK. RACE WILL BE IN ABOUT 80 MINUTES. DINKIE IS A NERVOUS WRECK. POOKIE ACTS COOL BUT INSIDE HE IS FRETTING.

Do you know how to make a mint julep? I've never had one, and feel deprived. Bob Baffert still looks the same with or without a drink. I heard adding mint to Dinky's water can have a calming effect. Keep watching ,we still have at least a half hour to make up our minds.

I'm rooting for the hometown favorite General Quarters and his 75 year old trainer/owner/groom Tom McCarthy. He's the only horse he owns and he paid $20.000 for him in a claiming race. I love the underdogs.
Here's a cool article I was just reading about the man and his horse.

With the two major scratches, it's a pretty wide open race now.

I've watched every single race starting this morning....................on ESPN..........didn't think about turning the Channel in between doing all the pack duties, and breaking dogs.........I was still waiting for the race when on the Kentucky Derby Webside.........saw the winner, Now having a recap on a local Los Angeles station. I should have stayed on as a Rocket Surgeon! Ceeriuslie
