Looking for knowledge, from a nervous soon to be puppy stepmom. This is my 3rd litter, 1st one sorta not counting. Single pup, C-section. 2nd litter, 7 born and all healthy, right on time. My question is, we are now on our 3rd litter and I had an x-ray done 1 week ago and saw for sure 4 puppies. Yesterday, (Thursday) was day 63 from the first breeding. Today is Friday day 64 from 1st breeding and she is not showing any signs of delivering babies. I feel and see them move so I'm sure they are fine but when should I worry?? She was bred 3 days in a row. Any help to calm my nerves is good. My firends tell me not to worry but I can't help it. Thanks ahead of time for your support

You might want to call your vet and have an ultrasound and doppler done. That can tell you if the puppies are in distress. If not, I would just wait.

Well, They finally came. It was day 69 from the first breeding and day 67 from the last. She had to test my nerves I guess. We had 3 beautiful puppies. 2 sable males and a black and tan female. She did great with them. The mystery is the 4th puppy that we saw in the x-ray never came out. At least to my knowledge. I suppose it had to come out at sometime but there was very little opprotuntity for this. I rushed her to the vet early a.m. for a c-section and we xrayed again to see no more there. I'm bummed about the lose of the 4th puppy but very happy with the 3 she had. I will update my web site as soon as I can with pictures. I'm still stuck on dial up so I have to have plenty of time when I do this. Thanks guys for your advice
