This is disgusting! When a person starts breeding just to make money they stop making rational decisions that are in the best interest of the breed. :( How very sad.

I'm not a regular reader, nor poster, so I'm not aware of "the first time". All I can say is when I opened the PDB up this morning and saw this ad, I was disgusted.

I still remember the, make a living raising chinchillas ads from years ago. Total scam, there was no real market for them at the time. Ostrich ranches was also a scam as many found out. But pets? There is a market out there.
I once raised Fox and Mink for fur.... sorry guys.. but the thing is if you didn't have the quality you lost your arse the first year.
With pets all you need is a living animal, no quality required. This is one of the darker sides of the internet I think.
At least I had pride in what I raised and some respect for animals and how they lived even a fur bearer.
I remember this specific ad and thought here's a lady making money on a bad idea. No effort required.
Filter out the ad, I wouldn't help her across the street.

Gouda's reply. Its good to keep the can of worms open on this subject. Things that are swept under the rug, never go away.
May God bless you richly beetree.
Your friend gouda.
