I have an idea and just enough Pinot in me to have the nerve to post it....
Most of us in the US have heard of the marketing campaign during election times called "Rock the Vote". I propose we (the big "we") launch a similar campaign called "Rock the Entry". If every show from coast to coast has a strong showing of working line & show line that can really work we can proverbially Rock the Entry. Who's in? I'm ready to design and start printing buttons, bumper, t-shirts and hats & start organizing fund raising events to get this off the ground. So you run around a ring a few times hooting & hollering but then you nail the "have-nots" on the field and go home victorious!!! Get up Stand up!!!

Don't stop at SV style shows. I've said for years I'd love to see the American dogs outnumbered in their own ring. Go for it.

I'm in. I had the only German import at the big AKC here and I was darn proud. Took home best Amateur Owner/Handler in Conformation and 2 firsts in Novice A obed (and 1 high scoring novice overall). I say let's do it!!

I'll be showing in CKC tracking and obedience later this summer, so I can always put in an appearance in the show ring while I'm there!

Strangely, very few GSD's of ANY description show in the area of Ontario I was living in until I moved. The one conformation show we attended, Star was the ONLY bitch entered, of any age group! One of the dogs there already had his championship, so, of course, he took most of the ribbons.

[sigh] Couldn't even place in the Sweeps class, though we took a couple of ribbons by default...

I'm in! I've been planning on this for awhile, and I'm not the only one. Let's show them what a GSD is suppose to look like, and more importantly ACT like! Let them know there are GSDs that won't cower when approached by a judge! Got the t-shirts ready dAWgESOME? Will I see you at any shows around here? ;-)
