Zoe could care less what is going on as long as she has her bone !

That's cool. I'd have a bitch fight on my hands.
I'd hazard a guess that Zoe is in charge.

Nope she is (8 mo) the youngest of the pack! the other sable is 2 yrs.

I thought it was funny how she was so content w/o a care of what the other two were doing :)

It is funny. They're all having a good time.
No way anyone here would just lay there like that while the others bounced over and around.
I like Zoe's look from what's in the pics anyway. Is she from your breeding?

Last Sunday i gave both my Dogs a Marrow Bone whist i was away at the final Belgian Sectional Trial for the WUSV, Monday morning Goran was Sick and his Stools sloppy water
Tuesday Izzy the Pup was Sloppy Stools
I guess the Bone was the problem,
However the old tried method od fasting for 24 hours and plenty of fresh Water did the trick,
Soon back to normal stools and bouncing again, Marrow bones are off  the menu for a while

Speaking of bones, I've found that many major grocery chains are now stocking 4-packs of frozen marrow pipe bones. Judging by the packaging they're used by the Hispanic market for soups. They're about 4-inches long and 2-3 inches across which is an ideal size for most GSDs - too big to try to swallow, but small enough that they can work all the marrow out. They packages are sold on weight but it works out to about 50 cents each.

The brand here is Carne del Toro but I'd think it differs by region.

I collect old bones they have sucked out all the marrow and wash them and pack them with peanut butter and slip them back in the kennels.

mojack  - no she was bought from Gregg Foster of Pflegen kennels. She is a sweetie with tons of ball and prey drive.

Steve1 I always keep Diabac on hand for shows and travel you might want to look it up (all natural and works on dogs and humans)

We are lucky as we have a slaughter houses/meat houses close by and get a bag of dog bones for about 3.00 , beef neck bones on sale for 2.00.

Kalibeck

No way any of mine would lie still with a bone while the rest romped, as someone else said; it would escalate, too. Mine do the ol', 'Let me help you with that...."  to each other, & slip the bones away, for some reason, the other dogs bone is always better than theirs. It's so human, it's pathetic. One dog finally has all the bones (the lawyer of the group), & the others tussle, but once the rest discover their losses, it's all out war! For that reason, bones are limited to crate time, when I'm around to keep an eye on things.

Nice looking pups! jh

Hey Barb,

Wow does she look good.   She has really darkened up.
