Of all the pictures I've taken on this trip, this is my favorite, just wanted to share. We were hiking Mosaic Canyon in Death Valley, marble walls and floor, beautiful!

Here are a few more pics of the canyon itself. I've been to a number of places that I think must be the most beautiful place on earth. This is high on the list! The marble is smooth, slippery and you have to be on the lookout for some surprise visitors! This one isn't venomous, just a whipsnake, commonly known as a red racer.

Hi Liz,
I wasn't able to post pics for a couple of days so I got kinda backed up. I'll try to post at night when I settle in somewhere., I'll post the rest of Death Valley tonight. Really nice, HOT place!! Drake and I went through plenty of water there. And of course, on this hike, he decided to take a huge dump. Had to carry that stinky bag all the way back to the car, yuck!

It sure looks like you two are having the time of your life . Do you have a first aid kit with you ? There was a good thread on it here . Going hiking in places like that you should have one,(first aid kit) if your brave enuf to hike death valley you can do anything . Keep on trucken on GSDtravels . Good times ahead to you both. I had to add this Happy trails to you .
