Stud dog guarantee? - Page 1

I have just bought a good stud dog and was wondering what is the general practice as regards a guarantee for the bitch to be in pup? If she is not is another stud free of charge the way to go or a refund?

usually,  1 or 2 live pups.  if not repeat breeding.  never heard of a refund.  depends on the owner of the stud.  basically, if its your dog, than you set the rules. 

i have also worked out deals with stud owners, ie.  pup back for stud fee. 

best bet is to look around.  a lot of breeders who have studs will list  their fees, guarnetees, etc.
