A brother to Anitia zo Zeleneho haja is a police dog in Utah.  The pedigree in question is

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/459791.html

The handler says his pedigree is in Czech and he was registered through (FCI) Federation Cynologique Internationale.

I looked him up here but had nothing on him but did have this girl and a male from the same litter I found by putting in the zo Zeleneho haja of the name and found the parents that way.

I personally like the pedigree but would like others opinions on it.

I am still learning about lines but still don't know to much and would really like help in that department.

I was also wondering what he needed to do to register the dog through AKC?

He asked me but I am not sure because I have never registered an import before.  All my dogs have already been registered prior to me getting them.

I would jump for a dog with these bloodlines.

Thanks for your input.

What I am wondering is why I have a 132 people who looked at this topic and only 2 have an opinion?

Plus, no one has even helped with the second question on registering with the AKC.

Please share with me and everyone else who might have the same question and don't know how to go about registering a Czech dog with the AKC.

I have Car and Grim zPS in my girl's pedigree and am very impressed with the cross so I imagine Car and Tom zPS would be equally strong.

As for registration, if you look on the AKC website there is a section for how to register a foreign dog.  Your best bet is to read there or contact the AKC directly to make sure your friend has all the up to date information.   But for me it was as simple as submitting the foreign pedigree papers, transfer of ownership billing and requisite pictures.

My male and police K-9, whom I raised from a pup is line bred on Cordan An-Sat ( 2-4).  Excellent dog and I love the pedigree.

Here is a link to my dog's pedigree:  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/469183.html

I love the Czech dogs.  Cordan An Sat has produced a lot of great dogs; and the dogs he has produced have produced great dogs.  Hard dogs with little or no handler aggression, that can take corrections and bounce right back.  I definately want another dog linebred on him for my next dog, probably a female.

Hi Jim!

I don't know if you ever say my little girl's pedigree.

Hanni Apanta rei.

I have heard great things about Cordon An-Sat and having seen your dog I can see why I've heard such good things!  I've also heard good stuff about the dog in my girl's background Car zK and the zPS kennels as well.  I think when I look for my next dog it'll be trying to find Cordon with either Car zK or zPS.

And I know there has been some talk about the different lines here on the board so it was interesting, what you said about his ability to take corrections.  My girl is the same way, as long as you're fair she never takes it personally.  She takes the correction and bounces right back with an understanding and no handler aggression or loss of drive.
