Use a little Bag balm on her. This works very well on nail marks from the pups.

That was my suggestion as well, bag balm. Take her away from them for a little while a couple times a day to give her a rest....how old are they now? Just keep an eye on it, & make sure it's clean with no signs of infection, pus, etc.. How are the littles cuties doing? I remember poor Kali, as the pups got really big, we started crating her away from them for a couple hours, just to give the poor thing a break, but when she'd return to her puppy box the pups were like vultures, she didn't even get a chance to lie down & they were on her like so many fat, fuzzy ticks! Cute ticks, tho'! But OMG, the look on her face! Poor thing. LOL! Haven't seen any pictures for a while.....are you finally resting? jh

You can probably get it at the health food store.

INFLAMED BREASTESES IS NOTHING TO JOKE ABOUT. WHEN STINKY WAS NURSING PEENEE HER BREASTESES WOULD HURT SO BAD SHE WOULD SOB AND CRY. I ALWAYS BROKE OUT THE BLOW DRYER AND HEATED UP HER BREASTESES. THIS WOULD GIVE RELIEF. THEN I WOULD APPLY APNO ALL PURPOSE NIPPLE OINTMENT. ITS A MUST FOR HEALTHY AND PAIN FREE BREASTESES.

Okie you are so funny I love bouncing tit bits. Tigermouse do not use vasaline, bag balm is like udder balm for cows udders. Your pharmacy should have something like it for women that are breast feeding and get chapped. I think they even may have the bag balm at the pharmacy. It is great for your hands. I bet the puppies are a hand full. Always, cee

Tigermouse I'm not sure if Bag Balm is available in the UK (it's made in Vermont.) But it's a simple formula -
8-Hydroxy Quinoline Sulfate 0.3% in a petrolatum lanolin base. Perhaps a chemist could make some up for you! Or check around - if you have a farm store or tack shop handy, they must have something similar - it was formulated to treat inflammation in cows' udders.........

Give Momma a hug for me - she sounds like she deserves it!
