Performance test - any news from US Sieger?

by Mystere on 25 April 2009 - 16:04
I received a telephone ~"report" on the males. The PA system is such that my caller wasn't able to hear what the JUDGE had to say, but she saw multiple vorhundins and a couple of sufficients. She also said that there were some outstanding performances from Boy and the bi-color Falco son. She also said that a German import and one of the Wilhendorf dogs had excellent courage tests. She could specify which, unfortunately .
She also mentioned that Juneau once again looked very good and was excellently handled by Ravi's son. I DO hope that Juneau makes another run for Universal Sieger. From what I am told, we could have a REAL field of contestants from the males.
Females are on the field, now.
I hope "someone" is filming.

"vorhundins" ???????
by AnjaBlue on 25 April 2009 - 18:04
The word is "vorhanden"..... under the "old" classification referred to Kampftrieb (fighting drive), meaning it was present but not pronounced. Dropped a dog automatically into KKl 2.... and is still used.

Ork was OUTSTANDING! Hands down the best showline male who set foot on that field. He was every bit on par with the two working line dogs exhibited. Yash Bastillie put out a great performance as well. One of the Mittelwest males, I think was Yasso, also did very well, along with a Teejay son. Juneau with the little boy was so cool to see. There were a very few others who were any good, I'll have to grab my catalog to see. The number of dogs I liked were in the single digits for sure. Was Kalev pulled? I did not see him and I was really hoping to. I missed many of the females due to the lovely downpour we had, but what I did see was not good. Quite a few insufficient females. There were a few males awarded pronounced that I didn't entirely agree with.

Is anyone there filming the performance test?

by VonIsengard on 25 April 2009 - 18:04
I saw people with cameras, don't know if it was for their own dogs or their own use or what. I hope so. On a whole the dogs were better than the videos of San Jose, but still only a few really notable dogs.
Not enough a1 dogs, either, I thought.

Lida..... (Owner of Kaluv v Whirling Thunder) did not make it to the Show. MAJOR car brakedown!!The car broke down the day before leaving for the show. The last I spoke with her, not running! It's a good thing that it did not happen on the way to the show with the dogs in tow. A MAJOR BLESSING!!
