As most of us know, the show is underway.  I know today was just the puppy classes, but any results yet?

That's speedy!!   I  saw one name, though, that almost made me dizzy:  Vodka von Whirling Thunder.  The image that invoked!!     That's the name for a dog that will knock the helper on his ass!!

It was pretty gorgeous today. I got sunburned, but was better than the freezing rain we had 4 days ago! Gotta love Chicago weather.

Ahhhhh......bummer. I was looking forward to see how Silas vom Silbersee would do,,,,,but he was pulled. Too bad. I am not a showline person, but saw this youngster at SER show in Statesville, NC, and was very impressed which is still an understatement.........LOL

Yes, it would have been interesting to see how a sable would have done! They are becoming increasingly rare. But I have not seen any of the S-puppies since they left me at 8 to 10 weeks of age. I was told by Silas' owner that he was unable to make the long way to Chicago. Maybe next year?

Chris, it will be interesting to see how Silas develops further. I hope you have good contact with his owner. I hadnt seen a dog moving that free and smooth under less then optimal conditions for a while, which speaks for a nearly perfect structure. That VP1 was well deserved!
