Can anybody help?

I have a male that is AKC registered and a female that is not. I plan on breeding them - what can I do to register the litter.

I have looked at the CKC website, and it shows that I am capable of registering my female, but I'm not sure I'll be able to register the litter since my male is AKC.

Can someone please give me some guidance.

THANKS!

Where's Hodie when you need her? :-)

I don't want fake AKC papers, or AKC papers that truely don't belong to my dog.

Okay.
But what about my last question, if I have her CKC registered and him AKC registered, can I register the litter?

NOT WITH THE AKC. NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Seriously, you shouldn't be breeding an unregistered dog.

The dog is purebred, so I don't see the problem?

If the dog was "purebred" it would have papers. If you don't see a problem with an unregistered  "purebred" dog then why are you even asking how you can get papers for the dog?

I have a male that is AKC registered and a female that is not   Why do you not have papers on the female? Was she sold to you without papers? Did the breeder hold the papers or not register the litter because she didn't want the puppies used for breeding? If all health testing has already been done on both of your dogs, and they have proved themselves to be worthy of breeding, the only way I know of that you could possibly register puppies from these 2 would be register both parents with the *CKC (*Continental Kennel Club). Puppies could then be registered, even though it would be with the *CKC who would pretty much register anything.

I'm asking because where I live, people pay more for registered dogs.

And YES, the dog is 100% German Shepherd. If you want to know the entire story of why we don't have the papers, I'll be more than happy to tell you, but I guarantee you could care less.

I only got on here for advice, not for someone to tell me my dog isn't purebred.
