Hi Everyone:
Just wanted to let you know how well the 2009 Bark for Life at Sunnybrook in Pottstown went this year. We had 470 dogs come out to raise over $25,000.00 last Saturday. The donations are still coming in. Our breed was well represented. Thank you to Kathy for bringing Lexi (and of course her new baby Avery), Dot with Cassie, Karen with Lucas and Heidi, Betty with Bouche, Herb with Yukon, Michele with Neeka and Fritz and Karen with Raven. Our Team Canine GSDFAN's has raised over $2,500 so far for the American Cancer Society. The ACS is so impressed with our event they sent 7 reps from 7 different states to come out to our event. They want to make the Bark for Life a National ACS Event next year.
The dogs are well on their way to raising our goal of $100,000.00 this year.
Here is a link to pictures from the event. All dogs were well behaved and seem to really enjoy their day out in the sunshine.

In addition, we are holding a "Leader of the Pack" Team compeititon (although you can compete individually) on May 9th at Wagsworth Manor in Malvern. The $15 entry fee benefits the ACS and will help Team - Canine GSDFan's in our attempt to be Top Canine Fundriasers this year. If any of you can make it please contact me for more information. We would love to see you there.
