References for Vom Bergsturm Kennels in CA? Newbie Question - Page 1

Hi, Speaking with a lady with a young adult male outside of LA in California, found on this website but posting has now been deleted. We're definitely "newbies" ... I've had one reference from a local kennel that boards some of her dogs that indicated it was a good dog, but she couldn't tell me much about the owner of the dog. No other references, have not seen any paperwork, health information yet ... please advise. We've grown attached to the dog already through her description of him, but we're hesitant to proceed now due to reading up on warnings on this website. I don't want to bash the breeder but would like to know how we should proceed. Owner is wanting wire transfer before dog is shipped to NC, will not agree to escrow service. Advise? Questions to ask or requirements on our end before purchasing? Thanks.

Website doesn't work, just joined here, no posts, no ads. No info on the dog and it's on the pther side of the country? They want a wire transfer but won't accept escrow which is safe? There's plenty of kennels and dogs close to you you could go see in person.

IMHO I'd look elsewhere.

Is the dog in Calif, or Washington? Start with making sure you have correct info, and know what you want, show working big differences in advise.

Thanks to all who have already responded to me personally. We will be looking for a reputable breeder within our driving radius. I'm very sorry that this website is infested with such scandal.

There are many excellent breeders in North Carolina.

Stay away from them. I sent them money for that dog two weeks ago and I never got the dog. It was a 5 year old male. It's all a SCAM
