Sorry, I thought it be something of a change and show our pets that we dearly love!

what do you do with your dogs, and do they get along with your cat?

My rottie doesn't get along with my cat. He has a big kennel outside for himself. My pit zeus eats and sleep with my cat. Whatever pleases me it pleases him and if I accept it he accept it. He is so loyal and listens very good. My cat is you know very independent and he just does his own thing he likes to eat and just sleep!

With my pit I do weight pulling he is very strong and loves to work. He loves to go out and just work and play with his toys. Other than that he just all out companion and is very much there to please and we love him. He is very gentle with children and other animals. He is not dog aggressive and is not what people make a pit bull out to be. In fact I will admit he comes from a fighting line called chinaman. But he far from anything negative he is just a big baby! He does have a lot of prey drive and likes to chew toys up. I have tree where a tire is roped up and he jumps up and just wiggles up there forever. You can't get him off there he loves that he can bite in there and hang for hours. I made sure he didn't do it at a young age and ruin his teeth but he is old enough and matured enough to be able to do it until he feels needs to stop but that's like never!

I do not do anything with my rottweiler! He is a big bear and really but I will say he is very alert and vary of strangers. He is very protective of my family other than that he is good with people and children pet him and he plays with them. But I love them and I am still debating adding a german shepherd to the family but I am not sure if I can handle all the dogs at once and give them the amount attention they need, want, and require. I am still learning though about all kind of breeds and I tend to read forums about them and get information about something I don't know and not sure about.

I thought about everybody posting pictures of their dogs/pets and talk about them and tell stories. I started it off and posted my dogs/pets. I apologized and want to talk about the breed and animals we love and respect. We all here for 1 thing and I just want to contribute positive things to all members! Thank you.

I suppose since you left your recent "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" weekend posting spree, this new post is supposed to be the most prestigious hub of intellectual activity in America, and poof all is forgiven. No thanks.

Nice dogs MJD8O.  :)

I'll admit to being wary of both breeds...mainly because of many sad incidences in our area, but you seem to be a loving responsible owner.

I had started a similar topic a week or so ago, where many showed their dogs.  Unfortunately I have dial up and can't download all the pictures! ;(

I think you are wise thinking twice before adding a third dog, with those breeds, it may spell trouble.  Just my opinion of course!

All the best!
