I'm curious about who is responsible for this site. Everything I read there "screamed" no anonimity but you are unable to access who runs and administers the site.

I asked the same question in the original thread where the new site was introduced but didn't get a response. Judging by the membership list, which is made readily available, anonymity is easily accomplished. Perhaps that's not such a bad thing at a site of this particular nature but it would be nice to know who owns/operates it.

Don't join it if you don't know who owns it or is responsible for it. Not a good idea.
Then verify if it is real or some spyware advocate.

The "administrator" posted this site on another forum. States non-profit, registered in what state? Haven't gotten an answer. I personally wouldn't want the responsibility of getting sued if someone were to slander. It's a US site.

There is actually no risk for a website owner in the US. Its the poster/auther that is responsible for the libel. Website owners that did not write the text are fantastically protected by US law. US law is probably the best country in the world to run a website.
Otherwise, how many do you think would have had 3rd party individuals post libelious stuff on servers like yahoo.com and such and then sued yahoo.com.
Been overturned again and again in the US court system. website owners are not responsible and are neiter required to remove proven falsifications.
