I just wanted to brag about my weekend in the AKC ring.  Last week Mirasmom posted a question on how to help the handlers nerves in the ring.  She got lots of tips and I took them all in!  Anja needed one more leg for her CDX title.  On Friday we failed misrably!  I got a lot of complements on my handling, but Anja was so nervous, she couldn't even heel, walked the broad jump and laid down on her out of sight sit.  Oh, and anticipated the recall!  We only passed 2 excersises!!  Ugly!  But the next day, for some reason I had a totally different dog and we passed!  Took 3rd place even!  Would have pulled a 191 (great for us), but lifted her butt for a second on the long sit and judge took 5 points for it!  Ended up with a 186, but we'll take it!  Took us a year to get this title and it is my first CDX!!  Also had Henna entered in Rally Advance and she pulled a 98 and 1st place on Fri and 95 and 2nd place on Sat.!  It was a great weekend and THANKS everyone for the great advice!  I think it helped-truly!

Mr. Muffin head did not qualify, and we could only go that Sat as there were no classes for GSD's on Sunday,
as I always love to have that 50---50 chance of getiing it right!

I was totally relaxed, maybe too relaxed, cause he was lagging and not sitting in the fiqure 8 & heeling,I
could have & should have given him that extra heel comand, but didn't, all I know is I feel much more
relaxed and can't wait for our next show, I have him entered in OB & Conformation May 2 & 3rd in Maine,
this time it was him not I, that couldn't get it together,
Also, Theo is 3 1/2 years old and there were 2 other intact males that were the same age that ng'ed, one
was a Chow and the other a Dalmation.....maybe it was a boy thing.......

The judge said Theo was a very handsome looking boy, but could stand to lose alittle weight, that's
funny, cause a year ago people were saying he was too skinny.....
