Here are a few pictures from our journey through southern Colorado. We'll be going to Mesa Verde National Park today so I'm sure I'll be posting more later on.

I was in the Canadian Rockies many years ago but had never made it here. I'm just in awe and every second here is a jewel. Not bad having my best friend along either, we're both having the time of our lives. He may not appreciate the sheer beauty of his surroundings, but he knows we're outdoors a lot and that we're together . I'm waiting for my camera battery to charge, forgot about it last night. I can't walk out of my room without my camera. So, I'm off for the day but will share more later.

I so enjoyed our visit, though there just wan't enough time. You and Drake are so wonderful. On your way back, you're welcome to stay for a while.

Glad you are taking the southern route, I-70 was closed for a while because of 34" of snow. Thanks for the beautiful photos.

Kim, I agree on all counts. We really had an enjoyable evening, thank you for your hospitality. It was wonderful to meet you and your family. And your furry crew is just perfect, what fun! (I didn't even notice they had a doggie door but Drake found it right away, and he's never even seen one before!) If I get back that way I just may take you up on your offer. It does seem like you have to go through Texas to get ANYWHERE, LOL.

YR, Drake is doing very well, ear problem cleared up, thanks to you! He's been traveling, eating and sleeping well and is really having fun everywhere he goes. He gave me a kiss for you and it smelled like salmon, yuck.

And now, some more pics from today at Mesa Verde. I do have to say the drive up was white knuckle all the way, I'm terrified of heights. But boy was it worth it! Words can't describe what I'm seeing each minute but hopefully, the pictures can, enjoy.
