I've received an email from a friend about a 7 year old non neutered male.
GSD named Jake who's owner died. He is near the Cleveland area.
He lived with two smaller dogs and a cat so apparently his good with other animals.
They have tried Senior dog rescue but apparently they are full.
The family has placed the small dogs so the Jake has now lost his owner and his playmates.

Breaks my heart. What a beautiful dog. I sure wish I lived closer. I would at least foster the dog until a forever loving home could be found. This is a good reminder for me to update my will to be sure all of my furkids will be well taken care of.

Per information from another board. A family member found his papers contacted the breeder and the breeder is taking him back. The breeder isn't breeding any more so he will be neutered and be a loving companion to the person who bred him.

That is wonderful. Glad to here he will be reunited with his breeder and have a wonderful home.
