Hey guys,

I've got a mystery on my hands... A friend of the club recently rescued a GSD from our local pound. The dog as it turns out is tattoed. I was wondering if anyone could shed (no pun intended) some light on the breeder, who I assume would love to find out where their dog got off to.

If he is tatooed he is probably microchipped. Did you have them wave their wand over him?

Unfortunately, it does not look like a USA tattoo scheme, which would give info that could help find the breeder. Have you contacted Mary D? If it is a breeder in the PNW what shows dogs, her records might shed some light. She is going nuts with Sieger Show stuff, so hit her in the early morning, before anyone else. I mean "early tracking time," Em. :-)

Everydog that comes through our shelter is automatically checked for a microchip but thank you for the suggestion MVF.

I didnt think about Mary, duh! but I'll deffinately email her unfortunatly we have no idea where the dog came from, USA, SV, canada. thanks Mystere

I use the USA system for my tatoos. Sorry guys it's not mine, I don't know of anyone that uses one like that.
