Enough with the words...let's just put some quick and easy numbers we can all understand that will show how dangerous the current federal spending is.
For every $333 billion in deficit spending, it will cost (approximately) $1000 for each and every man woman and child in this country to pay it back.
For every $1 trillion, the cost is $3000 per person.
So for a yearly deficit of about $2 trillion for 4 years (the current estimate for Obama's budget), the cost per person is $24,000.
Now only half of the people in this country actually pay taxes, so you can double that cost if you actually are one of the unlucky ones who have to pay taxes...the cost then becomes $48,000 per person.
But if you also take into account interest amortized over several years like for a mortgage...the cost then becomes over $150,000! Where do you plan on getting your $150,000 from?
That's the same as the price of a house! So now instead of you being able to buy a house, you have to pay back 4 years of Obama's untenable spending spree.
THAT is why I am going to the Tea Party today.

I am forced to do without the items I can no longer afford.
The government can tax my distain as far as I'm concerned.
They want something to grow yet they kill the seed.
We have forgetten how to say no.
