Why do some GSs barks sound so deep and others sound so high pitched. Is this a difference in German, American, etc, etc
Thanks,
Archangel

K9 Dreams.
That makes sense. I guess the age would be a factor as well.

A few have that deep rough bark I am use to hearing. A bark that sounds more aggressive. Oh course, maybe I don't know what I am talking about.

We love it, by the way--makes for a very effective deterrent :D

Not trying to say American is better or anything like that because they are not. American lines are too weak. They are over angulated. I think that is the right word.

Both of my males have highpitched wussy barks when they are playing, want something, are told to speak, etc. But when its time to be serious they'll shake the house/car etc. Very deep and big barks. My female just always has a big, deep bark. My female Mal shrieks (high-pitched and very annoying! lol)
