Love the linebreeding to Brix Kapwald and Askia Froschegraben in Maya.
If she was stacked correctly in her picture she would show the conformation that comes down to her over Brix/Grando.

I know it is a pretty bad picture of her.  She's not that light sable either.  She's a big female, but put together quite nicely, very athletic and graceful for her size (not oversize but large) - her very best quality is her temperament combined with her high drive and strong work ethic - she has an absolutely perfect temperament.  :)  So does Doc - should be an excellent combination.

Ya know Molly.....I'm thinking one of those Pup's needs to have a home not to far from ya. I'm thinking that one of those Pup's might need a real nice home where it would get a lot of Adult care and some good training at Joan's  with some Shutzhund training/work at Molly's too. I'm thinking that one of those Pup's might enjoy having a young (18Months) GSD older brother (Neutered) to hang out with and get in trouble with. I'm thinking one of those Pup's would be just the Perfect age for a Teacher that will be starting her Summer Break to get to have that Perfect Bonding that makes training a pleasure....Yup Molly I'm thinking that my Better Half might just be a real happy Gal with a Pup of just the Quality that this pair brings to the table......of course it has been since 1979 since she has done any Rag training in the circle. She sure does enjoy the OB training at Joan's....just needs a great GSD to be bonded with her, not the Old Man...LOL I bet she could go far with a Pup with the right temperament and just the right drives to get her back into some good Shutzhund Training......I'm thinking we need to talk Molly. I'll be getting in touch with you soon. Ya think you can help an Old Man make his Better Half a Suprise New Owner of Eichenluft GSD????? Hope we can work something out....Thanks!

Being the original owner of Maya since she was a puppy and the person who worked her from the very beginning, she is a very strong female.  Her temperament is outstanding as many can testify... She was raised from the very beginning with small children and not in a kennel situation.  She is always reliable in every situation.

Maya is a working line female, and if the picture is that bad, then please remove the on this site and take a new one  :)  That is from when she was 2 years old and not quite physically mature, plus the picture was taken by a then 8 year old boy.  She is not a big female; she is very medium sized, and very athletic.  She is very typical of what was produced by Rocky Z.  I also imported her littermate sister, Maggie, who was lighter in pigment than Maya, but had the same temperament and drives as Maya..  A very nice female as well!

I think for those interested in a Maya puppy, you would not be disappointed.  She has progeny out there doing everything imaginable from sport work to therapy work to being some of the top dogs on the K9 Units all over the USA...
