Is the dog supposed to keep looking back to the handler (on the heel with the helper in front)? Wouldn't you want the dog to keep his eyes on the helper/ suspect?

I'm no expert but it's a nice looking dog has a good bite.

When dog looks back to the handler it could be do to bad handling, too many pops on the leash in the past so the dog is less independent, can be easily fixed.

I have seen this personally where the handler is so strong( Not just physically) that he lifts the dog and literally hurls him for committing a mistake. You have all sorts of training being used. Just shows the handler has extreme control on the dog as said, by correction or else....

There is nothing nervy or weak about that dog. He's all jacked up to go (look he is already forging his handler) but he keeps himslef in check (barely). He isn't looking back at the handler for reasurance, he's doing it because he knows where he is suppossed to be and he's fighting that because it isn't where he "wants" to be. (on the decoy) The dog is keeping his eye on the suspect (look how many times and how fast he moves his head. He's out of postition (forging) and has to look back to make sure his handler is still coming. It's a training issue for letting the dog get away with the forging but he is a nice dog, very fast to the decoy. Obviously enjoys the bitework.

That's not a he, that's a SHE.  And she is dynamite.  Also happens to be the mother of Bomber  & Bandit v. Wolfsheim.

The dog is definitely very very very impressive.

that is so interesting.  looking at the vid of bandit next to the one of noditha and all i can say is:  wow their movement is so similar - can't wait to seen what the gabi x bandit breeding produces because this movement these dogs show is truly stunning and it looks like it is passed on.

Thats a pretty impressive female. .Looks like she has some nice drives and lots of power to the helper. As for as the looking back I would agree with 4pack that she knows thats not where she is soppost to be..Nothing that cant be fixed.I would love to call her mine.Thats a nice dog .Thanks Vikram
