Hi everybody
If both dog and bitch are kkl and the pups are born out side germany should the pups come with pink sv papers

by hodie on 04 April 2009 - 15:04

Only puppies born in Germany from dogs who meet SV requirements are provided "pink papers".

Nope, they should come with the papers where they are registered, whatever country that is.

The "pink papers" as you call them are for dogs born and bred in Germany whose parent also have "pink papers".

By the way, don't know if you know or not, they do indeed have the pink-ish background on the paper they are printed on.

I have an import bitch who came with german pink papers, and I also have a bitch who was born here, parents were German born/bred, she has a pink SV issued pedigree in english, in addition to her AKC papers.

KCzaja, Are those papers received through USA?  I think I was told at one time I could have done that with a couple of my females, both parents import German bred/born.

Oh, maybe I read the question too fast, won't be the first time, certainly not the last.

Well, IF the parents are German dogs with German pink papers, that is different than what I originaly understood - (parents) born and registered outside of Germany...

There is a form(s) on the U.S.A. website where the litter can be dual registered with the SV/USA or the dog can be individually registered.  It would then be the English translation "pink" papers issued through the U.S.A.
