A fantastic tribute to a fantastic dog, also so nice to hear their genuine love of Zamp means he will spend the rest of his life with them. Thanks for sharing.

Isn't it amazing how such a nice dog actually has an incomplete pedigree here? Why has no one ever completed it? Merely curious.

Katjo74, Incomplete pedigree here? What are you talking about? Where and in which generation is the pedigree incomplete?

Luna dell' Isola Baroni

Maybe the mother are wrong

I have 2 difrent  Gilda dell' Isola dei Baroni

Do you mean Endy della Bassa Valtellina

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/5/557648.html

There's no information on Endy's dam.  Endy appears to be the granddam of the Gilda; Endy appears in Zamp's 7-gen pedigree, but beyond Endy there is information missing.

Yup-that's what I'm talking about. If you brought up Zamp when I posted earlier asking about the incomplete pedigree for him here (date/time) and looked at the 7 generations link for him (just to see what he's built out of), on his mom's side, info was missing. ..well, it's NOT missing now.

He was shown having dogs from like a LOH  registry or something like that on his mother's mother's side with alot of real strange unfamiliar foreign names without any titlements posted, etc. Surely other people than just me saw such.

It's all DIFFERENT now. Someone has either changed it or fixed it.

Since I saw the other earlier, incomplete version, I was just asking what the deal was out of curiosity.

OMG so it's true... Zamp WAS the GSD hobbling about in the "Pedigree Dogs Exposed" exposee at Crufts. I had heard that the black and red GSD wobbling on his hocks as he stood was the famous "Zamp" but I could not reconcile the alleged "working heritage" of the GSD preserved by the SV, with a knitting-kneed wobbler like what was shown at Crufts. Joe, say it ain't so!

SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!!!  The article is fantastic, just like the ONE and ONLY ZAMP, the pictures are excellent too. Now he is The Ultimate German Shepherd, who could fail to be in awe of this beautiful dog. liz
