To start out, my dog doesn't have any symptoms of bloat ... I'm just curious.
Does torsion ever happen from activity alone--without bloating first? In other words, is there a risk of the stomach flipping from work or play without the dog bloating? If so, is it a rare occurance? Or is torsion always caused by bloating first?
Thanks in advance.

I have had dogs that have bloated and dogs that have had GDV. The dog that died from a GDV did NOT bloat first. Bloat does not necessarily = GDV or vice versa.
