I'd like to have 100% out of him.
To me this is abuse and offensive to my senses.
Its wrong and its a sin.
If you listened to your heart you'd know hes wrong.

When i read on this forum the amount of problems some of you get with your dogs, it makes me wonder just who is abusing there dogs, skin problems itching etc All mostly done because the dogs are living in the central heating of a house, Doors closed at night to stop draughts and it is the humans who cannot stand the cold or fresh air not the dogs
How many of you have turned down the central heating in the winter when your dogs are in the house very few i bet, Stop talking rubbish
As i have said before i have kept dogs outside to live for over 57 years, NO illness in any No Itching, No skin problems the only time i had a dog with a slight problem was when i moved to Belgium in the winter of 2004 the collie had to live indoors whist i built his kennel and run, in no more than a week of living in the house his coat lost its shine and started to go flaky, I turned off the central heating the second week to help him
Within less than two weeks of going back to out doors living again his coat came back to normal proof its self
Other than that never a problem with dogs living outdoors the youngest one to die of natural causes was over 14 years old and others going on to over 16 years old
You guys talk a good talk but half of you only think what is best because you know nothing else and you only look on dogs as if they are the same as us, That in its self is cruelty, Dogs are not Homo Sapiens no matter what you think and there needs are not rthe same as ours, the sooner some of you people come to terms with that fact the better off the dogs on the whole will be, and please do not give me any clap trap otherwise,

My dogs do not play with other dogs or other people, they play with me during training time. My dogs spend time in the kennel and time in the house. When I am working on some things my dog spends MUCH more time in the kennel and sometimes no time in the house. Then my dog very much appreciates the time we spend together training.
I know a lot of people who kennel 100% of the time. It is NOT cruel to kennel a dog. Having a dog inside is more for us than it is for the dogs.

There is a word for this: Anthropomorphism is the attribution of uniquely human characteristics to non-human creatures and beings. I tell my clients all the time about this word.

Why, because we treat them as Dogs and not a human, But because we treat them as dogs it does not mean that we think any less of them than you folk do
In fact my opinion is we think more of them than some of you people do, Why because we let them live a life outside the human enviorment, I think some of you have misguided ideas as to what a dog really needs to have a healthy happy life, My dog , i only have one at this time, is a happy dog, he does not come into the house at all, but he is none the worse for that, when the Pup comes she too will not come into the house,
Her kennel and run is good enough for me to live in let alone tthe Pup, But she will have time to socalise and get plenty of excersise,
My one dog gets twice a day walks and a run and three times a week at the training club plus tracking three times a week, rain snow or whatever the weather we go and twice a week in the evenings and training outside when the temp is very low in the winter, is not good for us humans but we do it all through tne winter, it is not a fair weather sport for us over here, and that is quite enough for any dog, He goes without nothing in that respect but he lives outside and that will always be so 24/7
I never let my dogs play with other dogs in a dog park, i never take them there to do so i do not believe in it and that is it,
Steve
