ETA: I asked beacause I have found (what I consider) big discrepencies between pups of same quality or bloodlines, just different kennels.
For arguements sake consider this;
1st kennel puppies have well sought after bloodlines, both parents with solid titles(Schh3, V1 or 2, Kkl1). Kennel is also well known. Puppies priced at $1800-$2500 & sell before they hit the ground.
2nd Kennel puppies, Kennel is not very well known though. Same stud used, different bitch. The bitch has very silmilar bloodlines to the bitch above. Alot of the same dogs in her pedig. except for the most recent two generations(her parents & grandparents). The bitch(mom) has her CGC/TT, DNA(clean of genetic disease) & OFA'd Good(H &E). Her(pups mom) parents & grandparents are titled in the US(CH, CDX, Schh2) all have OFA'd good or better. These pups are only fetching about $600.
With the above senerio, even though made up, I have seen similar instances played out. Why would there be such a huge pricing diff.? Is it mostly because of the publicity of the well known kennel vs. the rather unknown kennel. I realize with the different bitches that adds to the equation, but on paper they are extremly close to the same, let's say confo wise they are both high quality. Does the fact that the one bitch's pedig. is titled only in "german" titles/sport, while the other has a very few dogs with "US" titles make such a huge difference? Thanks for all the feedback!

I would have to say where you live plays a major role in setting and receiving what you might believe is a decent price, abig city compared to a smaller town for instance. Also the pedigrees on both parents and if one or both parents are OFA certified. And if there are any tittles on either side may prove good working bloodlines. Hope this helps.

Bitch # 1 is SchH titled, SchH 3 no less. AND Kkl1: "Schh3, V1 or 2, Kkl1"
Bitch # 2 has NO titles, only her parents and grandparents have them, not her. Big difference. And honestly, CGC doesn't mean much. To pet buyers and Joe Q. Public, yes, but to people active in showing and/or dog sports it doesn't mean anything because we all know how easy it is to get (and yes, I've gotten a CGC and am actually taking another dog for one shortly). Lastly, "Alot of the same dogs in her pedig. except for the most recent two generations(her parents & grandparents)."
Uh, that means that the first 6 dogs in her pedigree (parents & grandparents) are different. The similarities in pedigree are 3 generations back! That's a lot in dogs.
Bitch # 1 - SchH3, Kkl1, good pedigree
Bitch # 2 - No title, no kkl, no good parents OR grandparents, but pedigree gets good 3 gens back.
See the difference now?
Plus yes, the part of the country and/or having a "known" name do make a difference in what price people get for puppies.

Sorry I didn't make my point as clear as I thought. With Bitch #1 the titles would be EITHER a Schh, Kkl etc. not all of them for each dog. Not sure if that even makes a diff.
Is it your opinion then, that the parents & g-parents of bitch #2 are "not good" because they have lower Schh ratings & American titles(CH, CDX,etc)?
I do get where you are coming from re: #2 bitch herself(no "working" titles etc.). I am just trying to make "general" comparisons here. Where all things would be equall except the titles on the last 3 gens.
Thanks!

I have found that alot of people that are inquiring about my pups, have met one in person and loved the look
and temperament of the pups or dogs they have seen, they tell me I come highly recommended by others.
If people that get pups from you are showing them off & raving about them to others, that's what I want to
hear, people that are able to train their dog and enjoy the companionship.
My pups are priced the going rate for the area that I live in, and compare to the price of other pups in the
area that have the same bloodlines.
Titles are great to have, but not everyone is looking for a dog with titles, they are mostly looking for a dog with
a stable temperament, a companion to play with their children and watch over their property Also a dog
with a 3 year guarantee against crippling genetic diseases and lifetime support via-e-mail or telephone
