I'm just curious what do you guys do with your Shepherd and other dogs. I don't allow Anubis to polay with other dogs, and he typically ignores them. I did notice today though, he ignored every dog at the park......not a dog park, a state park, there were three dogs there on leashes with their owners.....but he ignored all of them except the one who was staring him down.  Anubis stuck his chest out, stood tall, and barked at him a couple of times.  It was a very small dog, but still the eye contact thing......Otherwise he wouldn't have paid attention. We climbed fallen trees, up hills, walked on tables, tree stumps, played in the creek....he seems to like that....lol, and he did well over all. He did want to chase the running children and play with them....so I guess my questions are......what do you do with him....he's 11 weeks old today, when he wants to chase kids.....I'd guess thats just prey drive....and if we are to come upon a dog who is staring him down? He pays no attention to people with hats, umbrellas, canes, ect. He typically pays little attention to bigger people in general but will allow them to pet him with no problem. He loves to be around children though....which is good, I just don't want lunging on leash trying to run after them. He doesn't usually chase if they're standing still though.  For those who aren't familiar with him as much, he's my Mambo z Pohranicni Straze male pup. He's very confident, excellent food drive, good drives for the rag/tug, no environment/surface issues what so ever, and very few things bother him and if they do just slight encouragement makes him fine with the issue....very rarely needed though....just so you guys can get a feel of what I have to help with any suggestions.
