I am looking for any progeny or grand daughters of Dax v Baumberg ( BSP)  in the US, preferably on the west coast. Still looking for the right bitch and I like this dog. I'd like to find a granddaughter to lease or buy.

I don't know of any. too bad, Dax was a super dog and a darned good producer. the last son I knew of was one Gerald Groos was training in '96 near Frankfurt.

My new pup is a great-granddaughter of Dax v Baumberg and granddaughter of Bastin vom Kokental.  I got her from mary Bowden-Evans in Nashville, TN (J and M Shepherds).  Send me a PM and I can get you her contact info.  My dogs sire is Huck vom Pramauerweg, he's in the database.

Hey Shelley
Dax is the grandsire ( paternal) of my Nick, and I love this dog. I wish I could clone him, but I do want to lease or buy a bitch to breed to him, and woudn't mind linebreeding on Dax. I still own Nick's sire, Tell v Sulzbachtal, but he  is a 12 years old now and I can't use him, but Tell also had the heart of gold, super drive and  grips ,wonderful character I love. Guide Dogs for the Blind used him a couple of times too.
If you hear of anything avaiable on the west coast, let me know

I'm glad you kept something out of Tell. I love his pedigree. Had I been in CA I would have bred Conni to him for a linebreeding on Harro and a line to Grando Schloss Veitenstein through Sirk, AND a line to Betty Schloss Birkenstein (Irco's mother) . Julie probably remembers Asshole-Irco and also a really nice dog by Sirk that Dave Provenzano had with me for awhile, who I LOVED (both Dave and his dog Ha ha ha) V Till Ulmer Felswand, SchH 3, KK1.

Here's a pic of asshole-Irko, spitting in the helper's face.

Julia's Cora with Dieter Haupt, 98?

Oh, Shelley!!
Thank you for that picture of Cora. Today is my birthday and that was a great peresent. Cora lived to be almost 14, and she was a wonderful   mother and worker. I bought Tell from his prior , uh, owner and he still resides in his retirement home very safe ( finally) and happy. Tell's son, Nick is a once in a lifetime dog and spectacular to train and love ..

If you could send me a high resolution scan of that Cora and Dieter Haupt picture I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks again!!

Hey, Shelley
You can meet him any time you visit, but here is some video from the 2007 GSDCA Nationals in Colorado  by way of introduction. If you find a bitch for me for him,  such a DEAL! All  I have are his sisters, great aunt ( Ira) and   mother.

Maybe I will bring Ali when she's titled. How fun would it be to sit down over a bottle of Auntie Julie's excellent taste in wine and one of her gourmet meals & re-live the good old days?  Auntie Julia can COOK!

We can skip the DVG Nationals re-cap. Ha ha ha.
