I recently heard about a training practice where outriggers with bungies stretched between them, at the same height as the top of the jump, are used to teach the dog to tuck sooner.  Has anyone ever done this or seen it?  Can you describe the setup and/or provide pictures?  Thanks,

-Calvin

Calvin, I string a large bungee across the top of our jump because our Malinois got into the habit of touching the jump when going over and back. With bungee in place she doesn't do that anymore because it's not a solid surface that she can feel under her feet and she doesn't like it hitting her legs. You can see the bungee in my avatar. That is our GSD going over our jump, and over the bungee. Yvette

I have used those things quite a bit. Very good for training not to touch the jump.
Sorry, no pix.
