recently came across a gsd bitch kicking in air from behind, having moderate angulations in front slightly up from behind, long but steep croup extremely short second thigh ,when gaiting falls on forehand followed by a kick in behind as if there is some sort of restriction, coudn't figure out why? is it because of short second thigh?
Any help appreciated.
thanks in advance

Anand,
I think you will find that the dog cannot extend the rear foot beyond a point on the ground generated by a straight line to the ground through the croup without this kind of "kick-up" as I call it. I believe there was some discussion of this several months ago. ecs
