Took this picture of Bella this morning. She barely looks like a longcoat except for a bit of fluff around the ears. No fringe on her legs or extra tuffs of hair between her toes. In comparison to my longcoat Trigger she looks bald :-)

Her body doesn't look like she has a coat at all! I don't know WHAT I'd call that dog. LOL.

I have 3 Stock LC's. Each one has a different type of coat and some will take 2 - 3 years to develop their full length.
At 10 months 2 of mine didn't have feathers on the legs. My two females feet didn't get hairy until around 2 years old. My one female has short hair on her body, some feathering on the legs but very hairy feet and fuzzy ears.
So if a dog has ear tuff's it is a coat, odds are the coat lenght hasn't developed yet.

I know I'm biased, but I think she's cute, too :-) I wish I could get a picture when she stares at people with her forehead all scrunched up. I almost expect laser beams to come out of her eyes. Gotta wonder sometimes what the heck she's thinking.
