Great video of a very nice puppy. It is nice to see the compulsion used CORRECTLY. It did not deminsih the drive in the pup at all. Nice focus too for a young pup like that.

The foundation and training of a working puppy is crucial if the young dog will succeed in any type of sport where nerves and temperament are tested in every exercise performed to compete; but if the puppy or young dog does not have the genetic makeup to handle the type of demand mentioned, it doesn't matter how good the trainer is. We must be very discipline and honest with ourselves when we evaluate our young pups or dogs; specially before breeding. This is were most of the mistakes are done. Simply put "the dog either has it or doesn't have the drives and nerves" to perform certain tasks.
Depending on what your ultimate goal is, the breeding of two dogs is crucial if we are going to produce dogs that can actually perform in real life situations.
