I have learned that humor, is really a relational thing. There are some things that can be amusing.... Such as people with unfortunate haircuts, or when some one accidentally hits them self in the groin. But often these types of humor are overused and overexposed and they become predictable and therefore less funny. I personally always work to expand peoples humor zone if you will. I must tell you there is a fine line between pushing the envelope and having people trying to get you institutionalized for 3 days by a court order. Some people have no sense of humor, it is a bad idea to show up at your local organ bank with a shovel and tell them that "you just want to help". Likewise if you yell "Theater!!" in a crowded fire people will tend to strike you repeatedly with sticks and other convenient debris. There are many people that claim to be tough. They will tell you stories but if they really want to prove it, tell them to just go into any bingo game and start yelling like they won. These people will not seem so intimidating after suffering several closed fractures caused by crazed retirees beating them with mobility assistance devices such as walkers and canes. Well I seemed to have gotten off topic. The AWDF is coming up soon and we still have some sponsorship opportunities for trophies. This is an excellent way to look like a righteous dude or dudette with very little effort. You can check out the website here http://www.2009awdf.com/ Or email at kindevog@yahoo.com Remember spending a few dollars sponsoring a trophy is way more productive than spending money on watching a Wayne Newton Impersonator singing Motorhead songs..
