The masters of the obvious. How much does this kind of job pay ??? I could be a master of the obvious. : )

But the GSD is a trotting dog remember? This structure is best suited for the dog to do what they were bred to do.

Bullshit and everyone knows it. Even that show judge knows it. When called on it what did he say?

Disgusting and GSD show breeders should be ashamed of themselves.

This video has been talked about plenty on this board. The hocks on the that one dog are awful and you couldn't pay me to take it. As a "GSD show breeder"..I am not ashamed at all, because I find back ends like that unacceptable.

This video makes me want to puke!  It's been a few years since I went to a dogshow but I sure don't remember seeing anything like this in the ring.  These dogs look like they are just a step or two from dragging their rear ends on the ground as if suffering from a spinal injury.  I was toying with the idea of entering my little girl in a conformation class just to see how she would do but no doubt she would be shown the gate.  Her hocks don't look anything like this and her top line is barely sloped. I'd would be the laughing stock of the show if this is what we're supposed  to be breeding for. YUCK!

Holy Cow! That's terrible, those dogs with their hid legs wobbling all over the place. I'd like to see them run and jump (yeah right). I agree with DebiSue, it looks like they are injured and in pain. Hope I never see that in person.

This is awful...too bad they want to make you think most show dogs are like that.  They have took the worse case scenario..common..I hope you don't think all show dogs looks like that!!

First..this dog is limping..shouldn't even be in the ring.  Should have been excuse from the judge.

Second. His hocks are way toooooo long. he can't be anything but cowhocks.
Third. His back is so roach it looks painful..

This dog can't gait!!

I don't think I ever saw a dog of that condition being shown..This is a very poor subject and this is not representative of the vast majority of the dogs being shown..

read my comments. They are worth more than the moron speaking in air conditioned buidling and wearing $1000 suits and ties;) Even a Kid on the street could tell you what the High Flying Biologist is telling you. You need not be on National Geographic to tell you this...

cheers
