i've never cleaned my dog's ear till now close to 2yrs.
but now and then she itches behind her ears.
so thought i should better be clean her ears but need suggestions and recommendations as i've never done it before.

I think some dogs are naturally clean at the ears, others have too oily ears. May be it is in the diet, but I am not sure at all.

I use Tea tree oil facial wipes for sensitive skin!  They're great for the job!

I use a cotton wool bud dipped in metholated spirit, squeezed dry and then wipe the ear flap clean. For deeper cleaning use a preparation you can buy over the counter from your vet.

dogshome9.... how old are you?  LOL... that's what my mum used to use to clean the dogs ears... many moons ago!
