Most common age related ailments - Page 1

I was thinking about several of my old dogs that have gone on to the rainbow bridge. This got me thinking of what it was that they finally succumbed to in the end (hips, cancer, etc.)

Based on your knowledge or personal experience, what do you think are the most common ailments to affect a GSD as it ages?

 There's a website that tracks how long dogs lived and what they died of.  People can enter the data from their dogs.  The site then provides statistics based on the data entered, so it isn't completely scientific, it's just based on the data people voluntarily enter, so it' probably biased toward dogs that are better cared for.

I forgot how I found that website before, but maybe someone else knows of it.
