 Shelley,

Are you finally preparing to construct your dream kitchen of all ceramic tile and a hose with a drain in the center of the room??

My kitchen is in the middle of getting its floor tiled, will show pics once it's done.   It previously had linoleum flooring and several layers of it at that!  Old house..  So all of that got ripped up, old sub floor ripped up, then new sub floor and a mud floor to level it out.    Tile laying  begins tomorrow!  YAY!   Hopefully will be able to get things back in order before the baby's arrival next week.  LOL

Keep telling her that she has to hang on to March 11th, which is when I'm scheduled.   :)

I WISH! This ugly kitchen is in desparate need of a makeover. I'm hoping that big, nearly dead tree behind it will finally fall on it. My husband just keeps saying "But its in such good condition!" I have a sawz-all that says that could change in about 5 minutes.
He built the place over 30 years ago. Not bad for a 19 yr. old with a young family, but all the photoshop in the world isn't going to help it now. I tried to wash the windows yesterday but the Windex kept freezing to the the glass. When I moved in the old dishwasher was non-op and there was a chair holding the harvest gold fridge closed. (sorta)

Ladies beware. This is what happens when you marry a "frugal" (read: cheap) carpenter. Pretty much your whole house is well very constructed ...of materials leftover from various job sites. What continuity? The only thing that's missing is his vintage 70's pot pipe and a lava lamp. Ha ha ha. My dog found them & followed me to the dumpster with them shortly after we first met.
