Hello! What are those shampoos in the market that are ideal for the GSD? ANybody heard Isle of dogs shampoo?

I just use Mane & Tail, heavily dilluted with warm water. Economical, available anywhere (like Walmart) doesn't strip coat oils, and rinses easily.

I use Isle of dogs shampoo and conditioner on mine, like how it works, does seem to help with shedding . I have also noticed my dogs coat does seem fuller. downside is it is very expensive.

I use Fresh n Clean.  It lathers up nicely and leaves the dogs coats shiny and smells great.   It's inexpensive and you can find it in any pet store or store with a pet section.

Just use Johnson's Baby Shampoo, rinse well and DO NOT bathe frequently. Also, when you are using all these other concoctions, you might like to think about the fact that the pH of the GSD skin is very different than most canine species (very alkaline). If you inadvertently change skin pH, that can lead to trouble.

This may sound weird but my son wanted to use Axe (mens shampoo) on our 5 month old so we did and boy what an awesome coat. It shines and is silky soft.
