I see many huge 68,69cm and more males offered for sale from Europe on here. The prices are usually very high. There is no market there for these males. They will not be bred , can't kkl and usually can't work. . They will not bring the cost to ship them here if sold there, and with the over charge for shipping you could have way more than they are worth with the price of the airfare. Just beware we are a dumping house for those dogs

Hi wresslemam

You say ,oversized cant work, worth nothing.
Do you have such a dog? If not please shut up,or prove your point.
I have such a dog on the Belleville On. Canada Police force, under the control of Sargent Dan Jolly, canine uint.

This dog is a bit oversized, has won many awards.
This dog has a 1\8 american blood line. Many OPP. units have asked for this dog ,when they are in a tough situation, that perhaps the working line dog can not handle.  Yes Im proud proudof  this dogs sire,Cardsharks Micheal, his mother was half American . Cardsharks Micheal was  28 inches tall. He died of cancer tlast year. Big ,strong, agile, and most of all dedicated, and absolutely dedicated and totally loyal to .

P.S wresselman,if you do not own such a dog ,please shut your mouth.gouda .

lol Gouda.. you need to shut up lol.  If any unit is asking for help from another units dog because theirs cannot handle a situation.. sounds to me like they do not have a working line dog cut out for the police force.

Which would make it the police unit's fault for buying the dog and not thoroughly testing.  Your sticking your foot in your mouth my friend and you sound stupid.

XL Large sheperds are manstoppers when out of good working lines, those puny sport dogs that are just sleeve suckers are chased off the fields with there tails tucked when put under real pressure in most scenarios but I quess another greenie with small dogs knows it all right wrestleman.FYI Breeding to XL males also increases the bone size  and durability of the working bred dogs also which transslates into tougher more durable police and sport dogs.Anyone dont want there big over 80lb working bred dogs pm me with price and location. Thanx Matt Dillen

someone will buy them oversized dogs, breed them because they are german shepherds and then try and spin them off as the "original" or "true"  gsd.   bigger is not always better.

BREED WITHIN THE STANDARD.  IF IT IS NOT IN THE STANDARD THEN DONT BREED IT.   THIS IS JUST ANOTHER WRONG ROAD TO TRAVEL DOWN.  WHY HAVE A BREED STANDARD IF NO ONE IS GOING TO FOLLOW IT.

the only thing that needs to be supersized is my McDonalds meal.   sure the hell shouldnt be my dog.

bigger is not always better.

if I was a K9 officer, I wouldn't want a male gsd who weighd 110-130 lbs.  there are times when you might have to throw the dog over a fence or give it a booster into the back of a semi.  I wouldn't want to be throwing a 130lb dog over a privacy fence.
I had a 31 inch at the wither, 120 lb male.  he could not jump as high as my 75-85 lb dogs and he could not keep up with them. he was placed into a pet home because I don't want to produce dogs that size, I like to get pups into SAR and serice homes, and you just can't do that with a huge dog

its common knowledge that alot of males sold into america because they are oversized.  americans think bigger is better.  look at the "top" males imported by Bill Fleischer.  most of the males he gets are over sized.  he knows that sells over here too.  my 31in 120 lb male was a gr.son to a dog Bill imported and I bred to, V Baron v Lanzener Hof SCH3 (he had a kkl1, but trust me, he was over sized).  the dog was huge! Bill has some normal sized males but majority of them are huge.

Standards? I set my own standards because I am free and american. My standards always are higher than what the rule book states and my big dogs jump higher, hit harder, and just there size alone is so intimadating to where they are not tested by hoodlums and other forms of riffraft.
There is nothing more gratifying as watching my big dogs level a veteran helper and hearing the%#@#$^%^^ the fond words uttered from them lying on there backs.Big isnt always better, but when it is you just cant stop smiling.Matt Dillen
