Many thanks to you Guys who sent me mails regarding young Heidi, It was a shock to me and i thought i was a pretty tough fellow,
I have seen a great many people die some in front of my eyes in my life time, but i used to push the sights and sounds out of my mind and press on,
But young Heidi going hit me harder than anything of the above, It is strange how a Pup can affect a person so, But then i guess is why we have them
Sometime this year i will have another Pup, but  the one gone will always be Heidi and i hope i made the right call

Hi Steve

Nice to see you back. I hope you are feeling even just a tiny bit better. One day you will be able to look back with happiness instead of sadness.  Just remember Steve, you did the right thing for Heidi, and you did that through love for her with no thought for yourself.

Take care

Fiona

Okay, I did a search on Heidi's name, thinking I'd missed something, but the last posts I could find were pictures of Heidi well and happy!

WHAT HAPPENED??

So sorry to hear this news! I remember how happy you were when the litter was born, and when you finally got to bring her home. My heartfelt condolences!

Steve, welcome back!

I think we get more sentimental as we get older, I find it gets harder and harder to let a dog go (PTS) and it takes me longer and longer to get over it!

We've missed you!

No dog can fill the hole in your heart that the lost one leaves, but a puppy will always dig a new one that he/she fits just right.
When the time comes, if you need help with finding and aquiring a new baby-girl, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Heartfelt condolences.

Oh Steve,

I didnt' know anything about this.  What happened to your sweet baby?  I did a search too and must have missed the post on her.  Please, I dont want to dredge up bad things, but what happened to your beauty?

God Bless you and please know its okay to feel the way you do, even 24 hours with an animal can feel like a lifetime, it just means you love them.  I know that girl was loved she was such a inspiration to us all.

Much love

Steve gosh darn I am so sorry, I lost Astra my old schutzhund dog last month to a disease I could not stop, I tried so hard. She really loved puppies and children. They all go back to  heaven because they are heaven sent. Again I am so sorry.
Always,
C.

Oh no, no! Not that beautiful little fuzzy girl! I don't believe it! Oh Steve, I am so sorry for you, I think we all had just fallen in love with her big attitude in such a little fuzzball. I am so sad, I can't imagine how you must feel. My prayers & heartfelt sympathy go out to you. Rest in Peace little Heidi. Your friends around the globe mourn you, and wish your good person Steve well. How awful. Just wrong. So very, very sorry for you. jackie harris
