Hello - anyone have a clue what the cost is to cap a tooth..

Didn`t reach the pulp I don`t believe - just a chip on a large incisor.

Thanks in advance..

Shelley S, had this done fairly recently... it was expensive!  See if you can find the thread.

Capping was out of my budget by about $1,000. I had T's molar extracted. At 8 yrs. old he really didn't need it anymore.

Thanks for the replies and PMs.  Have contacted vet and am waiting to hear back.  But I think I know what is gonna happen here.

wow, thats pricey.

my vet must really like me.  female had one canine and the tooth behind it (not sure what its called)  broke to the point where nerve was exposed  .  we  didnt have them build it back up to full size, just clean it up and cap it.  both teeth done 60 bucks.

I had my trial dog chip his k-9 and I took him to the vet/denist...and he suggested to just do a root canal and fill it...and it was $900.00...
