I saw this dog on the road, its not a GSD but I just wanted to bring it up. As the topic mentions, this is STD. I am not sure the specific name of it so would be greatful if someone experiemced could teach me.
Picture is horrific, so if you have a weak stomach you should turn away. For your safety, i have attached the picture real low here.

ugh that looks bad. Never saw anything like that before ?? Cancer maybe. Yuk.

This is not STD and could be anything from PF, to injury to cancer or whatever. I hope to God that you get someone in your county to go back and pick this dog up and put it down. Or call a vet who travels and pay to have them come and euthanize the dog. If you are in an area where there is no help, then get someone who has a gun and go put this poor dog out of its' misery.
It is inhumane to allow this animal to suffer like this.

Yes, Hexe, I stand corrected. Where have you been? Nice to see you are still around.
You are correct. it is not impossible that it could be a TVT, but in my experience, unlikely just because of the size. None the less, whatever it is, the dog needs to be put down. The dogs' face shows pain and it looks very thin too. It is despicable to allow an animal like this to sit lie there one more minute without doing something definitive about it.

We had a male mixed breed rescue at work that had a TVT on his penis. Not as dramatic as that, as he was rescued in time. First and only one I had ever seen. He was neutered and went through a short course of chemo and it was "cured."
yes this dog seems to be suffering and should be euthanized.

I will have to do it. No guns - not allowed. vets will not do it.
I will have to do it in the night. Any ideas on how it can be done?
